Just got a call from the Indy Star about an e-mail that I had sent them on Sunday about there not being any coupons in Sunday's papers. She said that they put coupons in the subscribers papers 1st, because that's what the companies pay for their coupons for. Any that are left then go in the individual papers sold at stores and in machines. So I guess there was a big shortage of coupon inserts Sunday, and it's just luck if you get any buying them that way. Sounds kind of strange though that there would be that big of a shortage and that the Star would be losing out on business that way. So if you go buy a copy/copies of the Star Sunday, make sure and check it for coupons 1st before buying it! :(
